In the historic center of Rijeka, within a heritage-protected residential building, the investor aimed to create a modern law office. The design preserves the character of the existing structure and introduces a circular spatial flow that allows functional and efficient movement.
The interior design concept is based on playfulness that challenges the traditional image of a law office. The main visual theme – a network symbolising connection and collaboration – defines both the interior and the firm’s identity.
At the heart of the space stand two intersecting printed glass walls, each six meters long. Created in collaboration with artist Marjan Blažina, they form the structural and visual centrepiece of the office. The glass murals link art and architecture into a single, expressive composition.
The remaining spaces are designed in calm tones, enhanced by dark wood and parquet flooring. These elements add warmth and balance, highlighting the contrast with the vivid glass centrepiece. Natural light and soft colors create a refined and welcoming atmosphere.
The result is a contemporary law office that merges functionality, elegance, and artistic expression. It offers employees and clients a pleasant, professional environment that encourages communication and creativity.
